J. Lee Sharp, DDS
Dr. J. Lee Sharp received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of California San Francisco, School of Dentistry. He received IV sedation training at the University of Southern California. Dr. Sharp obtained implant training at the Zimmer Institute and the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio School of Dentistry Preceptorship in Implantology. Dr. Sharp has served the Roseburg community since July of 1984, and he is committed to providing personalized dental care to all patients including the young, old, disabled, and fearful.
Dr. Sharp is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Umpqua Dental Society. Dr. Sharp volunteers regularly for the Northwest Medical Team’s free Mobile Dental Van and has served on the Oregon Board of Denture Technology, as Trustee of the Oregon Dental Association and President of the Umpqua Dental Society, and currently is on the Advisory Board for the Umpqua Community College Dental Assisting Program.
Dr. Sharp enjoys scouting, waterskiing, flying, sewing, hang gliding, scuba diving, and playing pool. Dr. Sharp has been married for 38 years to his beautiful bride, Linda, and they have been blessed with four boys and no daughters-in-law and no grandkids…yet.
Dr. Quinn Martin
Dr. Quinn Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Brigham Young University. He then earned his doctoral degree in dental medicine from Oregon Health and Science University, where he graduated with honors and earned student awards for his work in endodontics and implant planning and restoration. He attended a one-year residency through Idaho State University in Pocatello. There he became competent in restorative dentistry, implant placement and restoration, IV and oral conscious sedation, oral surgery, and caring for patients. He also got experience with full mouth rehabilitation, aesthetic dentistry, lasers, and periodontal surgery.
When he was young, Dr. Martin’s family lived in several places from Canada to Arizona but finally settled in Spokane, Washington. There he spent most of his childhood and eventually met his wife. He and his wife have three young boys who keep them very busy. Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with family, visiting new places, eating, reading Wikipedia, and learning new things. He is fluent in Spanish and likes to explore his surroundings by bicycle, no matter the weather. He and his family like to control the weed problem by picking blackberries.
He and his family fell in love with Oregon during their four-year stay in Portland and are excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest. They look forward to calling Douglas County home.
